Role & Responsibilities
- Provides domain specific expertise for overall electronic hardware, software and integration of various hardware components/products.
- Acquiring and analyzing customer Requirements.
- Responsible for leading the team in technical aspects & providing technical roadmap. Developing and training internal team members to ensure consistent application of proper hardware engineering discipline throughout the product development cycle.
Directing technical teams to resolve technical issues and ensure changes implemented to avoid reoccurrence. - Shall be able to drive innovation and Integration of new technologies into the products and projects. Directing the design
department to ensure integration with software, manufacturing, and the entire ecosystem. - Review the requirements and Specifications and provide expert opinion on the same at the time of RFQs.
- Coordination with internal design team, cross functional team, customers/ suppliers to meet all requirements.
- Strong Troubleshooting & analytical skills for solving issues.
- Execute & grow organization’s skill and competence in creativity, innovation, system integration, industry leading problem solving & debug techniques, and fact-based decision making.
- Leading and participating in the design, analysis, and execution of all technical aspects of electronic products / projects which meet or exceed the hardware, software and integration requirements.
- Be recognized as an electronics subject matter expert.
- Provides cross-team coordination to improve product, process, and consistency in technical execution.
Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in interfacing of Microcontroller, LEDs and sensors.
- Expertise in Analog, Digital and mixed signal Design Skills
- Experience in EMC/EMI design practices and the relevant validation testing
- Experience in communication protocols RS232/485, USB, LIN, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience in developing the rules and design guidelines for better Product performance.
- Experience in customer/ supplier interaction for requirements finalization.
- Analysis and solving Issues encountered in products.
- Define and apply processes, lessons learnt & best practices for better execution of projects.
Product knowledge :
On-coach Passenger Information System (PIS), Passenger Announcement System (PAS) for buses,
Intelligent Transport System, Surveillance & CCTV System, Automatic Fare Collection System (AFCS), Reverse Parking ,Assistance System (RPAS), Passenger Information Display System (PIDS), Automatic Passenger Counting (APC), Adaptive Traffic Control Systems (ATCS), Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), Tolling. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for addressing both the internal teams/management and when engaging with customers.
Qualification & Expertise:
- Minimum BE/BTech (IT/Electronics/Electronics& Communication) engineering with at least 15-20 years of experience in core Technical integration.
- Candidate must have had a relevant 10 years of experience in the automotive sector.
